With numerous benefits, peppermint is an excellent natural muscle relaxant, but it is also known for facilitating digestion. Infuse 10 fresh peppermint leaves in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes, and strain it. Drink one cup after each meal.

Fennel tea

Fennel is a vegetable with little-known medicinal properties. However, it can help:

  • soothe abdominal cramps
  • fight against a lack of appetite
  • fight against flatulence

Add 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds to a cup of boiling water and leave it to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes before straining it. You can drink it two or three times a day.

Milk thistle infusion

Milk thistle has beneficial properties for the liver, and prevents food poisoning. Boil 3.5 g of milk thistle seeds in 150 mls of water for 30 minutes. Strain it and drink a cup around 30 minutes before each meal.

Licorice tea

Licorice is naturally effective for soothing stomach aches and digestive problems. Chew a stick of licorice at the end of your meals.

You can also make a licorice tea to bring to work with you. In order to do so, boil 25 g of licorice in a half a litre of water for 10 minutes, and leave it to infuse overnight (off the heat). Before each meal, drink 100 mls of this infustion to prevent any digestive or stomach problems.

Artichoke infusion

Consuming artichokes increases the production of bile and speeds up digestion. Infuse 1 teaspoon of dried artichoke leaves in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. You can drink one cup before each meal in order to see rapid results.
