1) You make love often
2) You love your body
A healthy sex life starts with self confidence! If you love your body, you will be likely to want to have sex more often. An American study in 2009, published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, showed that among women aged between 18 and 49, those who had more confidence in how they looked physically were the most sexually satisfied! In fact, positive thoughts about weight, physical appearance or level of sexual attractiveness during sex promoted healthy sexual relationships.
By contrast, if we have a negative body image or negative perceptions about our health, our sex life can suffer.
3) You communicate a great deal
A fulfilling sex life depends on the ability of both partners to communicate, to talk about their sexual desires, their fantasies or particular fancies. Even if it is not always easy to communicate smoothly, you know how to understand your partner and read their reactions, responding accordingly.
4) You show your partner that you find them desirable
You tell your partner that you fancy them, that they are good looking or sexy, either face to face or via flirty text messages. If you have a tendency to hug and kiss your partner, and if you can easily engage in conversation or feel comfortable having sex, you are sure to have a happy sex life! An American study in 2011 in the Journal of Integrated Social Sciences concluded that specific sexual behaviours, such as kissing, oral sex and flirty exchanges, are linked to greater sexual satisfaction. However, this satisfaction is also linked to good communication between both partners.
5) You are happy with your partner
Generally, a happy and loving relationship corresponds with a happy sex life. An American study published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour in 2011 found that middle aged and older couples in relationships lasting between 1 and 51 years, the couple’s happiness and their sexual satisfaction was mutually reinforcing.
